The Stimulus
The best description of the Stimulus Bill is from Thomas Sowell, who compared it to “mailing a letter to the fire department to inform them that your home is burning”
With the stimulus going through government it will just take longer to get to the people, because of the numerous channels of government that the money will have to go through before it actually gets to you and me.
We all know that putting things through numerous government channels is the best way to do things, since the government has never wasted, lost, or used money inneficiently.
The alternative to massive government spending is a massive federal tax holiday, this would give people a greater amount of money to spend by next friday on payday.
The government will have the same net loss either way, but since it is the liberal mantra to expand government over everything else these tax breaks will not happen*
*actually if you don’t pay any taxes you still get a tax refund, my mistake that’s welfare
